On Thin Ice.

STORY

Concerns about climate change have risen dramatically over the past several decades and polar bears have assumed the role of poster animals of the rapidly changing climate. However, there is an obvious divide among adult North Americans on a range of beliefs about climate change and the severity of the problem. This infographic aims not only educate the public on the adaptations these bears have to survive the Arctic, but also how the rising temperatures affect their lives in a multitude of ways. Their diet, hunting, breeding, and travel are all significantly affected by the changing climate.

This infographic was designed to function as an educational poster aimed at a general adult audience with a basic understanding of the threats polar bears in the Arctic are facing today.
